Srđan Dragojević is a Serbian director born on 1st january 1963 in Belgrade.

His first film in 1992, We're not angels was a great popular success in Serbia and in all the other republics of ex-Yugoslavia.

Four years later, he made another success with a darker comedy : Pretty village, pretty flame, and in 1998, he made a strong film against Slobodan Milošević with Rane (the wounds).

After havingreceived propositions from Hollywood, Srđan fainlly came back in his own country to continue making Serbian flms.
